| | Share your experience of Project Server 2007 Implementation.
I have deployed Project Server 2007 on my VPC without any difficulty. Configuration of my VPC are as follows:
- Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition with SP1
- SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition with SP2
- WSS 3.0
- MS Project Server 2007
- MS Project Professional 2007
But when I deployed similar Project Server 2007 implementation for one of my client and faced couple of issues. I have created a new list "Tips and Trick" to gather issues and their possible solution in order to help community. If you folks face any issue or know work around to fix any bug, please email me at adnan@projectservergurus.com and I will post it in Tipe and Tricks list.
Thanks

| | I tried a migration the other day. I wanted to migrate the global settings first, so I put in "MigrateAll=" (i.e., blank) in the config file. The migration tool moved over all my projects anyway! Next time I'm going to comment out MigrateAll and see if it does what I want. Anyone else encounter the same? | |
| | Adnan,
Where is the Tips & Tricks?
BTW, we have installed the EPM on two environments one in VPC and one in physical, both run well.
But sometime I got issue with Queue and Eventing services, and the Timer service (it eats so much physical memory)
Things we have done for customizing EPM
- Earned Value (Trend)
- Earned Value (Cumulative)
- Stoplight Indicator
- Excel Services integration | |
