|  | Migrate Projects with P12Migrationtool--- HELP!!!!! Hello everyone:
I tried to migrate my projects from project server 2003, to Project Server 2007, when I execute p12migrationtool I have some troubles:
If I execute it with my user it send me a message like:
Creating DSN: name = MSP-12-WORKING-DB-DSN, server = IUS09EMTOLAP03, db = ProjectServer_Draft, trusted = 1
Created DSN MSP-12-WORKING-DB-DSN
Connecting to DSN DSN=MSP-12-WORKING-DB-DSN failed
ConnectToSQLServer failed for Draft db with status 80004005
ERROR: Initializing Project Server 2007 Communicator object failed
And when I executed with an Administrator user I got the next message:
Migration tool version is 12,0,6211,1000
Config file = E:\Documents and Settings\gespinosag\Mis documentos\Documentos MO
S-PS\Migration\p12migration.ini
Will only prescan the Project Server 2003 database
Press 'q' to quit at any point of time.
ERROR: GetFileAttributesW on config file failed
Invalid Config file or Config file not found
Can someone help me with this trouble?, thanks in advance any possible solution can send me at geraeg79@prodigy.net.mx

| | Hi,
i had the same error.
the solution for my case was:
- Open the ini file
- Save as
- migrconf.ini
That was it.
The sample ini file is txt type. I had to change it to ini file type.
